Dr. Carl Schwartz has been a church musician for 53 years serving churches in the Washington, D.C. area, North Carolina and Vermont. He holds degrees from Davidson College (North Carolina) and The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC) where he earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance. He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and has served as in various offices including Dean of the Potomac Chapter and District Convener. He was Chair of the 2011 National Convention of the Organ Historical Society in Washington, D.C. He organized the Episcopal Diocese of Washington Regions III & IV Chorister Festival for 15 years and has coordinated several Choir Days for the Diocese of Vermont. Carl is also a design and sales representative for Austin Organs, Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut. He has served as Director of Music for All Hallows Episcopal Church, Edgewater, Maryland since February 2016.
