New 6-metre press brakes installation

Two new machines have accelerated the ambitions of our growing Leicester-based metalworking business.

We have invested £300,000 in two press brakes, adding 40% more capacity to our operations.

The press brakes, sourced from Axe & Status, have been designed with combined capabilities to fold components up to 6 metres, and with bending force up to 640 tonnes. The kit will allow our team to process anything from intricate bracketry to non-standard lengths or thicknesses of metals for its clients.

Stephen Keates, our founding Director of ADS Laser Cutting, said:

The new press brakes allow us to better meet our customers’ needs, not only increasing the folding length but also the bending force. Where typical press brakes process up to 3 metres using up to 130 tonnes force, we have more than doubled this.”
