The South African government is scrambling for a way forward after a court in the United Arab Emirates declined a request for the extradition of the Gupta brothers, Atul and Rajesh.
It has since emerged that they are still South African citizens and are possibly using South African documents.
The two are wanted in South Africa on charges of money laundering and fraud in connection with State Capture corruption.
