The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) appeared before parliament yesterday, to give an update on the investigation into some of the issues at the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. The investigation is not only into systems but a look into beneficiaries who were not supposed to receive this assistance. These are students whose household income is above R350 000.
