One of the women Thabo Bester targeted 12 years ago, has called for all those who aided his escape from prison to be jailed. Bester tried to lure Anastasia Lite to a Durban Hotel with the promise of a television job in 2011.
The convicted rapist escaped from the Mangaung Prison in May 2022, while it was previously believed he had died in a fire while incarcerated.
South African authorities are now facilitating his return and that of his girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana to the country after they were re-arrested in Tanzania.
